Crack of dawn

4:00am Melissa and I at Trexler Park, to watch the sunrise at 5:30am and paint.
It smelled so good and the temperature was perfect. We were stopped by one of the maintenance workers as we were munching on our granola bars, he asked what we were doing there in pitch dark at 4:30 in the morning. Technically the park is closed at that time, it doesn't open till the sun rises. But we were two girls so he let us go, I mean if we would have been two boys or a boy and girl we would have been definitely kicked out.

Perfect place to do Yoga!

Melissa doing her thang

Mr. Bug really really wanted to help. Nature is so generous.

This is when you see just a little light and its still pretty dark.
So the light kept on changing, well duh! right...it was a darn sun rise. Ehh...not what I wanted it to look like. Better idea would have been to be there when the light is steady, but that would mean to paint in hot and sticky weather. who wants to do that?
But it was fun doing it, regardless of how it turned out. Essentially it is the perception of the artist that matters correct? How I see the world? not what the world really is, that everyone can see! Well I guess some people cant even see the world...they are blinded by their self interests and indulgences. Ok I will stop here. Dont want you lose you as my blog reader.
